Life at Landmark East extends well beyond the classroom, and our Student Life Team is at the heart of that experience. The Student Life Team makes Landmark East School a true home away from home. With warmth and care, they support boarding students in daily life while creating meaningful connections through evening and weekend activities. Our overnight security guards provide an added layer of safety and reassurance. Altogether, this collaborative team ensures every student feels safe, valued, and part of a family.
Dana Isnor
Team Member
Included among Dana Isnor’s strengths are her kindness, patience, honesty, empathy and compassion. Dana knows the importance of working as part of a team and makes genuine connections with staff and students alike. Dana has served on the Student Life Team since 2021. Dana is very creative and loves to paint.
Ryan West
Team Member
Ryan West has been a member of the Student Life Team at Landmark East School since 2021. As the weekend team lead he takes the students on adventures, including his favorites of tidal bore rafting, hiking and outdoor experiences. Ryan says that he looks forward to coming to work because he gets to see all the students and staff that make Landmark East School such a wonderful place.
Mike Elliott
Team member
Mike Elliott has served Landmark East School since 1998. He started his journey on the Self-Esteem Team, then became the physical education teacher and now is a member of the Student Life Team. He enjoys sharing his passion for athletics with the students through coaching and running activities. Among his favorite memories is coaching the 1998-2019 wrestling teams winning more than a dozen provincial championships for the school.
Sruthika Saravanan
Overnight Security
Sruthika Saravanan is a student at Acadia University and has served as Landmark East School’s weekend evening Security Guard since 2024. Sruthika loves learning and helping others. Sruthika brings a strong sense of organization and reliability, and is able to manage multiple tasks with her can-do attitude.

Sarah Leopold
Student Life Director
Sarah Leopold has been at Landmark East School since 2016. As the Director of Student Life she strives to offer diverse recreation and leisure based programming. Sarah is a creative person who writes poetry and paints. She loves nature and wellness and brings these passions to the students and staff through the activities she organizes. Sarah looks through the lens: we grow together, laugh together and challenge one another everyday.
