Our Kitchen Staff bring warmth and care to every meal at Landmark East School. They prepare three nourishing meals a day for our boarding students, as well as lunch for all students and staff, featuring a hot option, salad bar, and homemade soups. Beyond meals, they create delicious homemade snacks—cookies, pies, and other treats—that add a special touch to daily life. Every dish is made with love, helping our students feel nourished, cared for, and at home.

Bridget Brawn started whipping up great meals for Landmark East School in 2017. Bridget has served as Landmark East School’s dorm parent for four years. Bridget loves her job and enjoys seeing them grow, learn, and make friends - often for the first time. She sees their confidence grow each year and this makes all the difference. Bridget loves her grandchildren - watching them grow warms her heart.

Laura Brown
Acting Head Cook
Laura Brown first graced the kitchen at Landmark East School in 1986. Laura arrives in the morning at 5:30 am to prepare the first meal of the day for our boarding students. From there, she helps make lunch for nearly 100 people, and finishes with the last meal of the day. Laura’s greatest joy, aside from cooking, is her grandchild.
