Welcome to Landmark East School
Landmark East School is Canada's only day and boarding school for students with learning differences. Landmark East is celebrating 40 years of empowering students to realize their full potential. The classes are small, allowing our dedicated teachers to create individualized programs to support the learning needs of each student. This helps students find their voice and leverage their strengths for success. This nurturing environment honours each learner. As you walk through the halls you feel a sense of belonging.

Our Mission
Landmark East is an inspired day and boarding school that empowers students with learning differences to realize their full potential. We achieve this through small class sizes, individualized programs and our spirit of care and commitment.

Diagnosed with a learning difference (including but not limited to Dyslexia, Dyscalculia, ADHD, ASD, general learning disabilities)

May have difficulty acquiring literacy (reading and spelling) skills

May have difficulty with written expression, mathematics, processing information, organization and study skills

Between the ages of 8-19 years in Grades 3-12

Has average to above-average cognitive capacity (as shown on a psychoeducational assessment)

Motivated to participate in the school’s programs and show evidence that they understand their learning disabilities
