The Landmark East Community After-School Tutoring Service is available to local students who need help in improving their academic skills and grades.  This service is offered as part of our commitment to share our resources and serve the needs of children with learning differences in our community.  The tutoring service offered not only builds academic skills and confidence, but it helps to lay a good foundation for future successes.

• we accept children 6 to 18 years old who are experiencing difficulty in traditional classroom settings 
• students are taught by trained teachers 
• our diagnostic battery of skills helps us to plan a remedial program that best suits the student’s learning style 
• individualized tutorials are 45-minutes in length and are available weekdays from 3:15 – 4:00 PM and 4:15 – 5:00 PM. 

Remediation in the following areas is offered:

• phonemic awareness & literacy skill development (reading & spelling)
• language comprehension
• written expression
• math
• study skills
