Landmark East is an approved school for the Tuition Support Program with the Nova Scotia Department of Education.  In "Blueprint for Building a Better Nova Scotia", the government outlined the development of a new "tuition support program for special needs students with IPPs".

The intention of this financial support is to provide options for students with Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD), Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or Learning Disabilities (LD) to access education outside the framework of the Nova Scotia public school system.
