“We were apprehensive about sending our daughter 7000 kilometers from home to a boarding school. However, our fears were allayed when we visited the school.  We were impressed with the small pupil to teacher ratio, the structured classes, and study halls, the discipline policies and the emphasis on self-esteem development.

Elise has improved her physical conditioning, is better able to express herself, is more self-confident, seeks responsibility and has developed friendships with students from around the world.

Although her learning disabilities will never be “cured”, she is beginning to understand how she learns and to advocate for herself.  Landmark East programs have

given Elise opportunities for a positive and productive future. This is something we could never have dreamed just a few years ago.” -  Pierre & Paula Lessard (Elise pictured left)

“My son, Charles, was a student at Landmark East in the late 1980's. I have often thought, over the years that you might find it interesting to see what he’s accomplished since that time. I know that a day has not passed for me that I have not been thankful for the guidance, support and encouragement that he received at Landmark East. He is currently employed as a quality assurance manager for a software company in New Brunswick. In addition to the work experience and education noted on his resume, he also spent a year in Egypt with Canada World Youth. For a young man who was close to being lost in a school system that could not meet his needs, I am very proud of his success. Everyone at Landmark East should be proud as well. You were a big part of that success.” - Margaret Bachman
